Hi, I'm Khrystal!

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2016. Growing up as the oldest of three girls in NY, I developed a natural sense for empathizing with others. When I was just nine years old, HIV and AIDS were constantly in the news, and I witnessed people saying hurtful things out of fear. However, I couldn't understand why we would want to hurt people who were just like us. So, I immersed myself in learning everything I could about the virus, from how it's contracted to T-cell counts. With each new piece of information, the fear dissipated, and my connection to people grew stronger. It's why I became a counselor - to be there for others in their times of need. I've learned that I don't need to personally experience something to provide support to those who do.
